Serhan Karataş is a native of Izmir, and currently lives in Izmir, Turkiye. He researches the history of Izmir and organizes city tours.  As a traveler, he visited 47 cities in Turkey and 42 countries and 168 cities in the world. He studied Industrial Engineering and Master of Business Administration; he  focused on the management of the NGOs as a research area. He strongly believes in lifelong learning and skeptical thinking. Moreover he explores ways to share what he has learned, and strives to provide platforms to people to learn together and learn from each other. He has given trainings in 9 countries, his main interests as a trainer are human rights, gender, conflict resolution & communication and self-awareness development. Experiential learning, way of council, open space technology, theater of the oppressed and art of hosting are among methods he uses. He has been performing contemporary dance, mainly contact improvisation, since 2014, and gives workshops now and then. He has been on the path of yoga since 2016 and has been facilitating yoga and meditation sessions for the last three years.
